‘A Woman’s Role is to Procreate, Not To Be A Career Woman Or Get Rich’- Nigerian Man Sparks Outrage Online

A Nigerian man has released a controversial statement that has caused an uproar online after he made claims that contradicts what feminists have been fighting for years now.

The man identified as ‘Mazi Uju Nwokorobia’ said a woman’s role is to raise kids and not to pursue any career. He argued that women by nature have been designed to bear and raise kids and not to chase career or aspire to be rich like their male counterparts.

He wrote on Facebook as saying: ‘The major role of women in society is to bear and raise children. It is not to pursue a career or struggle to be wealthy. A woman who neglects this natural role may turn out unhappy.’
