Atletico Madrid have confirmed Mousa Dembele has tested positive for Covid-19

This news follows that from Wednesday when Los Colchoneros confirmed that Joao Felix has also contracted the virus. Last Friday, Mario Hermoso and Yannick Carrasco both had positive tests, too.

Dembele has not yet made his Atleti debut, but he will nevertheless be unavailable for Monday night’s match at home to Celta Vigo.

The French striker is now isolated at home, adhering to the local authorities’ recommendations and LaLiga’s protocol.
