What Is The Current Exchange Rate For A Dollar To Naira In The Black Market Today?
On Wednesday, September 6, 2023, the Lagos Parallel Market, commonly referred to as the Black Market, had naira to dollar rates where traders bought at N915 and sold for N920, based on information from Bureau De Change (BDC) insiders.
It’s essential to note that the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) does not acknowledge this parallel market.
They have guided those interested in foreign exchange dealings to consult their banks.

FG Trains MDAs On 2024 Budget Preparation
In light of the upcoming 2024 budget, the Budget Office of the Federation has started the process of training staff across various Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs).
Reports from Naija News indicate that this training will focus on using the Government Integrated Financial Management Information System Budget Preparation Sub-System (GIFMIS/BPS).
The purpose of this initiative, as shared by the Budget Office, is to fortify fiscal responsibility and transparency in managing state resources. This will also expedite the 2024 budget’s preparation and submission to the National Assembly by October 2023.
The Director General of the Budget Office of the Federation, Ben Akabueze, confirmed this during a two-day training workshop for the South-West district in Lagos on Monday.
