BREAKING: Kano State Records First Case Of Coronavirus

The Kano state government has announced the discovery of its first case of COVID-19.

This was revealed by the State Commissioner of Health, Dr Aminu Ibrahim Tsanyawa who confirmed the case but declined to give further details on the patient.

POLITICS NIGERIA gathered that an emergency meeting has been summoned by the state government with health officials to access measures to be taken to curb the spread of the virus.

As at Friday night, Nigeria has over 300 cases of the virus with a larger percentage recorded in Lagos.
