Breaking: Nigerian Senator ‘Adebayo Osinowo’ Is Dead

‘Adebayo Osinowo’, a Nigerian senator from Lagos, is dead.

Mr Osinowo died on Monday, an official said.

The death of Mr Osinowo, widely known as ‘Pepperito’, was said to be caused by “complications” arising from ailments not yet known, Lagos government spokesperson said.

Born November 28, 1955, late Senator Osinowo studied Building Technology at the lnstituto per Geometri, Rome, Italy. He obtained his master’s degree at Urbaniana University, Rome, Italy, where he specialized in Building Technology.

On February 23, 2019, he was elected the Senator representing the Lagos East Senatorial District at the National Assembly. He was subsequently appointed as the Chairman, Senate Committee on Industries.

Mr Osinowo was until his demise a first-term senator from Lagos East Senatorial District.
