Broken Angel Full Story, Plot Summary, Episodes, Casts, Teasers: “Broken Angel,” also known as “Santa Diabla” in Spanish, is an American telenovela with an intriguing plot. It was written by José Ignacio Valenzuela and produced by Telemundo Studios in Miami, USA.
The story centers around the main characters Gaby Espino and Carlos Ponce, who play crucial roles in the series. Aarón Díaz and Ximena Duque, on the other hand, portray the antagonists, bringing additional drama to the storyline.

“Santa Diabla” is a gripping telenovela that follows the life of Santa Martínez, portrayed by Gaby Espino. Santa embarks on a quest for vengeance after the untimely death of her husband, Willy Delgado, played by Lincoln Palomeque. To execute her plan, she marries Humberto Cano, a prominent lawyer in Marrero, portrayed by Carlos Ponce. Previously, Humberto had hired Willy to give piano lessons to his niece, Daniela Milan, played by Ana Osorio. However, a series of accusations led to Willy’s tragic demise. Blaming the Cano family, especially Bárbara Cano, Daniela’s mother and Humberto’s sister, for her husband’s unjust death, Santa is determined to destroy them. Unexpectedly, as her plan unfolds, she falls in love with Santiago Cano, portrayed by Aarón Díaz, Humberto and Bárbara’s brother.
Throughout the series, Inés Robledo, played by Ximena Duque, a wealthy and malicious woman, uses her influence to keep Santiago and Santa apart due to her obsession with Santiago.
In a surprising twist, it’s revealed that Santiago is the true malevolent brother, not Humberto, who had been unjustly portrayed as the villain. Santiago, suffering from dissociative identity disorder, is responsible for a series of murders in Marrero, able to kill without restraint. Humberto knew about Santiago’s condition but kept it a secret to protect his brother. Another revelation shows Santiago’s sinister intentions of making Santa his wife after discovering a picture of her while he and Willy were in prison. Every move Santiago made was premeditated and cunning.
In the end, Santa chooses Humberto, despite the prevailing belief that he is evil, because she knows he has a good heart. In a dramatic final episode, Humberto is tragically killed by Santiago, and Santa carries the secret of being pregnant with his child to her grave. Santiago ends up in a mental asylum, leaving the audience uncertain about whether he will escape or not.
