Buhari Appoints Balarabe Ilelah As New DG Of NBC

President Buhari has appointed Balarabe Ilelah as the new director-general of the National Broadcasting Commission, NBC.

The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, made the announcement of the appointment in a statement issued in Abuja on Friday, June 11.

He said Mr. Ilelah’s appointment is for a tenure of five years in the first instance.

Ilelah takes over from the erstwhile DG, Armstrong Idachaba.
