The 2021 BET Awards went down last night, and Nigeria international act Burna Boy made the country proud as he clinched an award in the Best International Act category.

Recall that Burna Boy was nominated alongside Wizkid, DIAMOND PLATNUMZ in the same category.

Following his recent win, Burna Boy has set a new record on the African continent as he becomes the first African artist to get three straight BET nominations and wins.

Recall that he won it in 2019, 2020 and now 2021.
