Chelsea Fans Told Timo Werner To get out of Stamford Bridge
Fans of Chelsea Football Club have told German striker, Timo Werner to ‘get out of the club’. The fans made the demand during the club’s opening training session at Stamford Bridge ahead of Blues Premier League against Arsenal at the weekend.
Chelsea displayed their new trophies and the new players that joined the club this summer at an opening training session in west London on Wednesday.
The new trophies were the UEFA Champions League and the Super Cup while the fans had the opportunity to welcome back Romelu Lukaku from Inter Milan.
Some fans in the stadium were asked to give their predictions for the game against Arsenal over the tannoy.
But some of the supporters instead used the opportunity to demand that Timo Werner gets out of the club.
The 23-year-old Werner took part in training under Thomas Tuchel earlier in the afternoon.
“Let’s have it right, get Werner out of the club,” they said as Chelsea trained on the pitch.
Werner joined Chelsea in a £47.5m move from RB Leipzig in the summer of 2020, with the Blues seeing off competition from Liverpool to secure his signature.
