Kachi Ucheagwu, a former housemate from the reality TV series Ultimate Love, has cast doubt on Ilebaye Odiniya’s victory in the recent BBNaija All Stars season.

It’s worth noting that the 22-year-old housemate secured the impressive N120 million grand prize after spending approximately ten weeks inside the Big Brother Naija house.

As Kachi reminisced about the win, he took to the microblogging platform X to voice his skepticism, labeling the victory as undeserved and driven by sympathy rather than merit.

He persisted in arguing that this inclination towards supporting unqualified leaders mirrors the challenges that have hindered Nigeria’s growth, particularly on the occasion of the nation’s Independence anniversary.

“On the occasion of Nigeria’s Independence celebration, the winner of #BBNaijaAllStar might symbolize the present state of Nigeria, where compassion and sympathy often take precedence over meritocracy. Whether she truly deserves it remains to be seen,” he expressed.
