#EndSARS: Davido Reacts to Looting of Private & Government Properties

Afrobeat star act, Davido has aired his opinion about the hijacking of the #EndSARS protest by hoodlums to unleash mayhem across the country.

The singer expressed in a tweet he put out on Saturday 25th that turning the peaceful protest into complete anarchy is disrespectful to those who lost their lives in the cause of the struggle. 

He also wondered why police stations were burnt down when one of the protesters’ demands was better police welfare and training.

 In the past week, there have been a series of acts of hooliganism and thefts across the country that has seen warehouses, shops, and stores looted. Public offices were also not spared as Police stations, high courts, Waec offices, amongst others, were set on fire.
