Former Security Duo, Happie Boiz, Arrested in Cyprus
Former security personnel and internet sensations, the Happie Boiz, have reportedly been arrested in Cyprus.
It was gathered that they were brought before a court and charged with an undisclosed offense. Following the court appearance, they were subsequently remanded in prison.
The Happie Boiz gained widespread recognition after they were terminated from their security guard positions in Nigeria for dancing while on duty at a fast-food restaurant.
After their viral job loss, they were fortunate to receive scholarships to further their education in Cyprus, thanks to the generosity of a prominent religious leader, Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere, the founder of Omega Power Ministries (OPM).
However, their circumstances took a turn for the worse when a video surfaced online in which the two young men accused the pastor of abandoning them in Cyprus.
In response, the pastor clarified that he had advised them to return to Nigeria due to the economic challenges caused by fluctuations in exchange rates. The situation has since taken a legal turn with their recent arrest and court appearance in Cyprus.
