Governor Sanwo-olu Gifts Actress, Iya Awero Three-Bedroom Apartment

Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has gifted Nollywood actress, Lanre Hassan popularly known as Iya Awero a three-bedroom apartment.

This was announced by the Chief press secretary to the governor, Gboyega Akosile via Twitter on Wednesday, March 24th, 2021.

It was learnt that the governor commissioned, delivered and renamed the LagosHoms, Igbogbo as Prince Abiodun Ogunleye Housing Estate, Igbogbo.

He tweeted, “Breaking: Governor @jidesanwoolu gives Nollywood veteran, Mrs. Lanre Hassan (Mama Awero) a three bedroom flat in the newly commissioned Prince Abiodun Ogunleye Housing Estate, Igbogbo.

Nollywood actor, Mrs Lanre Hassan (Iya Awero) thanks Governor @jidesanwoolu for the kind gesture after receiving the keys to her flat in the Prince Abiodun Ogunleye Housing Estate, Igbogbo,” he added.

Bella Shmurda bitterly laments after Police extorted him of N95K

African Hip Hop singer, Bella Shmurda laments on police brutality after officers of the Nigeria Police Force extorted him of N95K.

Taking to Twitter to narrate his encounter with the Police, the singer stated that he was arrested and made to pay the sum of $200 after he identified as a musician.

According to Bella Shmurda, Police brutality remains a serious problem in Nigeria that needs to be put to an end.

In his words, “Police brutality still out here! Bailing my time with $200 even after letting them know I’m an artist and I have a flight to catch.. Nigeria my country 🥴🤦🏽‍♂️.”
