Hoodlums Steal Obafemi Awolowo’s Glasses From His Statue [See Photos]

Hoodlums going around on a destroying and looting spree have striked again but this time it was on the erected Obafemi Awolowo’s statue and they made way to with his  signatory eye glasses.

The statue was erected by Lagos state’s former excellency, Akinwumni Ambode, in honor and recognition of the late former lawyer, nationalist’s contribution to the country’s democracy.

This is the second national heroes past statue that underwent assault in Nigeria, the first being DR. Nnamdi Azikwe’s statue in Anambra state, Nigeria.
