‘Human Rights Is Key’ – Actor Yomi Fabiyi Reacts To Baba Ijesha’s Bail Release [Video]
Yoruba actor and self-acclaimed human rights activist, Yomi Fabiyi has reacted to the reported release of Baba Ijesha on bail
It would be recalled that Baba Ijesha was finally released some hours ago after spending weeks in detention for allegedly defiling a 14-years-old girl.
However, things took a dramatic turn yesterday May 17, when Baba Ijesha was released on bail at the State Criminal Investigation Department SCID Panti on health grounds.
With Nigerians still pouring out their minds on the development, Yomi Fabiyi who protested for his release some days ago noted that human rights is the key.
According to him, Nigeria will develop and be more peaceful if the government works more on human rights.
Yomi wrote on his Instagram page;
“Abuja loun pe bi. Human Rights is Key. There can NEVER be true JUSTICE if the human rights of suspects, complainant violated. Rights which include Fair Hearing and strict adherence to the RULE of LAW. Do more on Human Rights, then Nigeria will develop and be peaceful”
