“I Did Not Propose To Any Of My Wives” – Alaafin Of Oyo Reveals

Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, the Alaafin of Oyo has revealed that he did not propose to any of his wives despite that he has a high number wives.

He explained that he wived the ladies based on their personal decisions to be with him. The Alaafin disclosed that in most cases after sending them to school l, they decide to remain with him in the palace as his wife.

He said;

“I did not propose any of my wives. They desired to be with me because I sent them to school. After their university education, I told them to leave but they refused and insisted on staying with me here in the palace as my wives.
