I Have Always Begged For Parental Love – Phyna

In a recent development, Ijeoma Josephina Otabor, more widely recognized as Phyna and the winner of Big Brother Naija Season 7, has shared insights into her challenging upbringing, marked by a constant quest for parental love.

This revelation comes in the wake of her father, Felix Otabor’s, viral interview where he expressed grievances about Phyna allegedly distancing herself since claiming the N100 million BBNaija prize in 2022.

Mr. Otabor voiced his sentiments, stating, “She disappeared into thin air as soon as the prize money was handed over to her, and she never returned home to butter our bread.“

Phyna, visibly affected by her father’s comments, turned to her Snapchat on Saturday night to open up about her turbulent past.

She recounted how her parents had treated her poorly and left her perpetually yearning for their affection during her formative years.

“Growing up I always hear you are not my daughter. Yet I would beg for parental love. The truth is I have always begged people to love me. Today I have finally accepted it. No wonder, I for say. Guess I’m an ORPHAN”, she wrote.
