Insecurity: 3 Dead As Gunmen And Soldiers Battles In Anambra

The Nigeria Army were able to kill three suspected people in a gun battle, who are allegedly among the gunmen terrorizing the Orumba area of Anambra State.

The event happened at Umunze, the state’s local government center for Orumba South, where gunmen recently murdered some troops who were out on patrol.

It was learned that the shooters murdered on Wednesday had lethal charms on them when they succumbed to the forces’ superior firepower.

Although the state police command could not be obtained for comment regarding the occurrence, it was discovered that the victims were a member of the gang that was assassinating innocent people in the state’s Orumba region.

According to a police source, the operation involved teams from both the military and the state police command.

Since they refuse to behave well, the source stated, “We are not giving up on the effort to drive these hoodlums out of the state.”
