Journalist Suffers Attacks From Hoodlums
At around 8 o’clock on March 8th, thugs accosted Mohamed Usamat Suleman as he was riding home in a taxi.
The Federal Medical Centre (FMC) Jalingo’s emergency ward is currently caring for the Shimo FM workers.
He claimed that the thugs demanded he provide a specific midget while brandishing firearms and cutlasses.
“On discovering that I am not in possession of the midget, they beat me to a stupor and pushed me out of the moving tricycle thinking I was dead,” he said.
Suleman said he could not fathom why he was targeted by hoodlums
“What surprised me most is their failure to take away my handset because all they kept demanding was a particular midget but thank God I was not carrying any midget as at the time I was attacked,” he added.
