Juventus Midfielder Player “Bentancur” Tested Positive For Covid-19

Serie A giants, Juventus have confirmed that Rodrigo Bentancur tested positive for COVID-19 and has gone into isolation.

A statement released this evening noted that the Uruguay international midfielder has tested positive for the Coronavirus.

He is asymptomatic and has been placed into self-isolation

The club is in contact with the local health authority (ASL) to activate the protocol.

Bentancur is now presumably out of this weekend’s game with Lazio, but also the Champions League clash with FC Porto on March 9.
