Kano, Jigawa And Katsina Declare Friday As Additional Salah Holiday

The government of Kano, Jigawa and Katsina state have officially declared Friday May 14, as an additional Public Holiday as regards the celebration of the Eid-ul-Fitr Sallah. 

The state representatives who made the announcements said the decision was taken after Wednesday May 12, which was part of the two-day Eid holiday declared by the Federal Government that fell within the 30 days of Ramadan.

Muslims were urged to continually pray for peace in their states and the country as well.
