Kate Demands Justice For Girl Raped By Lagos Doctor
Nollywood Actress, Kate Henshaw was present at the proceeding involving a 15 year old girl who was defiled by her aunty’s husband Dr. Olufemi Olaleye.
Kate Henshaw, who attended the proceedings on the matter at the Special Offences Court sitting in Ikeja, Lagos State, on Wednesday, was interviewed by journalists after the case was adjourned till January 26.
She claimed to have known Dr. Olufemi Olaleye professionally as she helped him to creat awareness about breast cancer and the need for early treatment.
Questioned what motive she had to come to attend the proceed, she inssisted that all she wanted is for justice to prevail.
Her statement:
“I’m here because I had professional relationship with Femi Frank Olaleye; I refuse to call him doctor.”
“I once helped him create awareness for women with breast cancer and cervical cancer to get early treatment and early diagnosis for their medical condition. That’s why I’m here.”
Asked what she expected of the case, she said, “I cannot say, I’m not a judge. I just want justice to be served. That’s it.”
