Kim Oprah’s Journey to Big Brother Naija All Stars: From Initial Decline to Guest Appearance

Ex-BBN housemate, Chinonso Ibinabo Opara, popularly known as Kim Oprah, has disclosed that she was initially approached to participate in Big Brother Naija All Stars but declined the offer.

The reality TV personality, who eventually made a cameo appearance on the show three weeks ago, shared that she had to turn down the initial invitation due to conflicts with her work schedule.

Kim Oprah provided insight into her decision to participate in the show as a guest in an interview with BellaNaija after her recent elimination. Despite her initial refusal, she revealed that the organizers later approached her with the idea of becoming a fake housemate (guest), to which she agreed.

Kim Oprah said; “I was initially summoned to go into the House for the main show but unfortunately my work schedule did not permit me.

“Luckily enough, they [Big Brother organisers] asked if I could come back as a guest housemate and that was the period we were also preparing for the Headies Awards.

“So we had actually halted production for my own show which is ‘Trending’ on Hip TV. So, I was given the time off to go into the House for a bit and come out.”
