Late Nigerian Singer Mohbad Filed Police Petition for Protection Against Sam Larry Before His Death

Reports reaching GQBuzz has revealed that late Nigerian singer, Mohbad, took the step of filing a formal petition with the Nigerian Police Force back in June, urgently requesting protection for both his life and property.

In the wake of the untimely passing of the 27-year-old Mohbad, his devoted fans have been unwavering in their quest for justice.

This quest has now culminated in the submission of a petition on June 25th, where Mohbad sought safeguarding measures for his personal safety and assets in light of an unsettling incident involving Sam Larry.

In a resurfaced video, it was evident that Sam Larry and his associates had disrupted the singer’s video shoot, issuing threats and instigating a confrontation, prompting Mohbad to seek official protection from the authorities.

The petition reads in part, “On 25th June, 2023 while having a video shoot with another artist by name Zlatan Ibile, the above-mentioned persons numbering about fifteen led by Samlarry Elegushi invaded the premises with dangerous arms such as guns, cutlasses etc. where I was shooting video and scattered the whole process of the shooting, damaged the equipment I was using for the shooting valued about Five Million Naira and started threatening my life which in the process they became violent and assaulted me which I sustained injuries but narrowly escaped.”
