Man Allegedly Beats Girlfriend To Death In Bayelsa

Arepamowei Koru has been detained by Bayelsa state police for reportedly killing his 22-year-old lover, Toma Serve-god Angolo, in their apartment in the Ogobiri village of the Sagbama local government area on January 24.

Before the sad tragedy, the two lovers were reportedly living together in the man’s neighborhood.

It was claimed that they had a little disagreement that turned physical. The woman allegedly suffered a body hit from the suspect, which caused her to bleed.

She was rushed to the hospital where she was confirmed dead.

SP Asinim Butswat, the Bayelsa State police spokesman, verified the occurrence and stated that the suspect had been apprehended at the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID).
