Man Stabbed To Death By Girlfriend In Lekki

For reportedly fatally stabbing her lover, Sadiq Owolabi Dahiru, in the early hours of this morning, November 20, at Oba Amusa Street Agungi, Lekki, Esther Paul, a young woman, has been detained by the police in Lagos State.

According to police sources, Kazeem Obafunso, the deceased’s stepfather, alleged Esther stabbed his 21-year-old stepson at the Ilasan police station. After being called to the site, police officers transported the deceased to the Evercare hospital in Lekki Phase 1, where the staff verified his death.

Esther was detained right away while the knife that she is accused of using to perpetrate the crime was found. The deceased’s remains has been placed in the morgue at the IDH Mortuary in Yaba for preservation and an autopsy.
