Manchester City Star, Benjamin Mendy Charged With Rape

In a statement that was later released, Manchester City confirmed the startling development. Top Premier League football club, Manchester City have suspended their player, Benjamin Mendy.

Mendy was suspended on Thursday after Cheshire police confirmed the Frenchman has been charged with four counts of r*pe and one count of sexual assault.

In a statement, City said, “Manchester City can confirm that following his being charged by police today, Benjamin Mendy has been suspended pending an investigation.”
