Medical Doctor To Be Arraign For Defiling Wife’s 16 Year Old Niece

Published

The Medical Director (MD) of the Optimal Cancer Care Foundation (OCCF), Dr. Femi Olaleye, will be charged today, November 21, according to the Lagos State Directorate of Public Prosecution (DPP), for allegedly defiling his wife’s 16-year-old niece.

After the kid’s father passed away, Olaleye was accused of raping the little girl who was staying with him and his wife at their home in the state. The doctor reportedly deflowered the youngster after exposing her to pornography.

Additionally, he was charged with committing the offense for almost 19 months before his wife learned of it and report it to the Lagos State Police Command for inquiry.

Olaleye was reportedly detained by the police officers assigned to investigate the allegation, and when the case was transferred to the Gender Unit of the police command, Investigative Police Officer Bimbo Williams was given the case starting in March 2022.

It was discovered that a petition was sent to the Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Response Agency asking them to get involved since the suspect was not receiving the correct punishment. The organization recommended that Olaleye go to trial and handed the case file to the Directorate of Public Prosecution.

Olufemi Olaleye will be charged in court today, according to a letter of notice marked “State of Lagos vs. Dr. Olufemi Olaleye” and signed by the Principal State Council of DPP, Mr. Oluwagbenga Alagbe.

The letter reads in part;

“Olaleye will be facing a two-count charge of defilement and sexual assault by penetration. He must appear before the honourable court and also make provision for a legal practitioner of his choice.”

Alagbe said that the notification of arraignment that had previously been delivered to the accused contained a copy of the information documents and proof of evidence.

Recall that Kate Henshaw, a comedian, Princess, and an actor has urged the police to charge Olaleye on several occasions. Princess said in a number of recordings that the cops were trying to cover up the incident.
