The first runner-up of the recently concluded BBNaija reality show, Mercy Eke, has come clean about her previous claim of having a billionaire boyfriend.

This revelation emerged after her earlier statement in which she mentioned her boyfriend’s purported 120 million Naira offer to prevent her from participating in the show.

While inside the Big Brother house, Mercy Eke had revealed her boyfriend’s possessive nature, advising her against entering the popular reality show.

She went on to disclose his substantial financial offer, 120 million Naira, as an incentive for her not to join the competition, an offer she had initially turned down.

However, in a recent interview with Toke Makinwa, Mercy Eke had a change of heart and admitted that she had fabricated the existence of a billionaire boyfriend.

She explained that she had created this fictional narrative to discourage male housemates from pursuing romantic relationships with her, as she had no intention of entering into a relationship within the confines of the Big Brother house.
