“Morravey’s Pen Game Is Crazy” – Davido Speaks On His Two New Signees, Morravey, Logos Olori (Video)

Popular Afrobeats performer Davido has revealed how he first met Morravey and Logos Olori, two of his most recent DMW performers.

In a recent podcast, the DMW president recounted how he initially became interested in Morravey after hearing her cover of a Fireboy song on Instagram. He was pulled to her voice because it was so lovely.

He claimed to have gone through roughly 300 of the over 400 comments before finding her Instagram page when he decided to search the comment section for her Instagram username.

Davido claims that after hearing him promise to turn her become a star, she became star-struck and had problems speaking effectively.

She asked for a video chat to make sure it was really him messaging her, and after the conversation, he sent her some cash to freshen up. He had also arranged for her and her friends’ flights to travel to Lagos to record a single.

He claimed that his decision to include her on his music album, Timeless, was influenced by his admiration for her songwriting abilities.

He disclosed that he had met Logos Olori through Magicsticks, Asake’s audio engineer, whom he had been visiting the recording studio with.
