Online reactions to a Nigerian woman surprising her partner with an early Valentine’s Day gift have been overwhelmingly positive.
Before Valentine’s Day, the young woman hired a surprise team to give her boyfriend a huge money cake and 50 liters of petrol.
She also gifted him a customised robe, luxury sunglasses, a collection of perfumes, a cross-body bag, wine, and a Valentine’s card.
Photos that are currently making the rounds shows the man and his girlfriend in a room filled with the different gift items his lover got for him.
In other news, a Nigerian man on Twitter has opined that the majority of Nigerian men are clueless on how to love women.
The man identified as Uncle Charles, who sparked discussion on the microblogging platform after he shared his opinion, said the majority of Nigerian men are not romantic and terrible lovers to women who are not materialistic.
He claimed that this is why they gravitate toward unemployed women, because financial gains will impress them.
“Most Nigerian men are clueless on how to love a woman who is not after financial gains. They don’t pay attention to cues, they’re not romantic, they’re not affectionate, they’re terrible lovers to women who are financially stable. That’s why they flock around the unemployed ones“, he wrote.
