Night of Doom Full Story, Plot Summary, Episodes, Casts, Teasers: “Night of Doom” on StarLife is a thrilling tale about a family facing a curse that spans three generations. The main bad guy, Kalasur, is determined to haunt each generation using supernatural powers, causing chaos and intense situations within the family.
The show started on August 23, 2022, and the first season, consisting of 72 episodes, has wrapped up. In Hindi, it goes by the name “Qayamat Ki Raat.” Fans of telenovelas have been won over by the captivating story and cast of “Night of Doom.”
Night of Doom’s Full Story
The tale of “Night of Doom” kicks off in 1993 with Suhasini and Mahendra, a newlywed couple. Following tradition, Suhasini must present her wedding chain to Lord Rama for blessings. They head to the Ram temple in Ramnamgarh, but things take a dark turn.
Birju, a friend of Mahendra, offers to drive them to the temple but forgets the chain in the car. At the temple, strange things happen, and Suhasini discovers a hidden door, falling into a secret basement where she encounters the Tantrik Kalasur. He makes unsettling advances, leading to a fight when Mahendra arrives to rescue her.
Suhasini manages to escape, but Kalasur, using supernatural powers, assumes Mahendra’s form and follows her. At Thakur Prithvi Singh Suryavanshi’s palace, Kalasur tries to seduce Suhasini. Realizing the deception, she calls for help. Palace residents rush to the temple, leaving Suhasini alone. Kalasur, disguised as Mahendra, arrives and attempts the same seduction.
The real Mahendra and the priest return, trapping Kalasur in a circle of holy ashes. Despite this, he curses the females in Suhasini’s bloodline, hinting at his return.
Fast forward two and a half decades, the story moves to Mumbai, where Mahendra’s biological daughters, Karuna and Gauri, are born. The Vikram family seeks Karuna’s hand in marriage for their son, Aman. A rocky first encounter unfolds between Aman, Raj, and the sisters.
After a series of mishaps, they end up at the same temple. Karuna falls into quicksand, reviving Kalasur’s powers. Aman and Raj help her and Gauri, seeking assistance from the temple residents. Gauri also gets trapped in the basement, similar to Suhasini.
The temple people save Gauri but plan to burn Birju. Thakur Prithvi arrives and saves him. Preparations for Karuna and Aman’s wedding commence, but Raj and Gauri plot to stop it, doubting its sincerity.
Kalasur returns, causing a terrible accident, injuring Aman and Karuna. Aman’s body disappears, and Kalasur possesses Karuna. Gauri must save Raj while facing tragic losses.
The family’s secret is unveiled: Uma, Raj’s mother, is Kalasur’s sister. The “shaligram” aids Gauri in saving Raj. Uma resurrects Kalasur.
In the end, Gauri and Raj succeed in defeating Kalasur and burying his ashes, hoping he won’t return. Sadly, their love story concludes tragically as they pass away in the process.
In The Final Chapter
In the following chapter, we are introduced to Vaidehi Khanna and Raghav Sharma, reincarnations of Gauri and Raj. Vaidehi is a successful young businessperson, while Raghav aspires to be an architect. Their paths cross at an auction event, sparking a new chapter in the story.
The narrative also unveils Sanjana, a descendant of Kalasur. Her mission is to win Raghav’s love and, crucially, bear his child, ensuring Kalasur’s malevolent influence persists into the third generation.
Vaidehi and Raghav fall deeply in love and decide to take their relationship to the next level, planning a wedding ceremony. However, on their wedding day, Kalasur kidnaps his brother Raghav through Raghav’s sister.
Guided by a priest, Vaidehi performs a ritual using Raghav’s photo. She ultimately uses a divine knife to defeat and vanquish Kalasur, putting an end to his wicked mission once and for all. The family can finally live happily ever after, free from the shadow of Kalasur’s evil.
