Phyna Responds to Claims of Abandoning Family After BBNaija Win

Josephine Otabor, who is best known as Phyna and emerged as the winner of Big Brother Naija Season 7, has responded to a report suggesting that she had ‘abandoned’ her family following her victory and the receipt of the N100 million grand prize in 2022.

According to a newspaper article, Mr. Felix Otabor, Phyna’s father, expressed his disappointment in an interview, stating that his daughter had seemingly “vanished into thin air” immediately after receiving the prize money and had not returned to support her parents.

He further mentioned that Phyna had not initiated contact or responded to their calls since her departure from the BBNaija house.

In response, Phyna posted a now-deleted message on social media, indicating her intention to pursue legal action against the newspaper that published the interview.
