Plateau State Government Sacks Over 500 Workers For Falsifying Records

Plateau state Governor Simon Lalong has reportedly fired over532 civil servants in the state over falsified records. 

The falsified records were said to have been uncovered after an investigation using the BVN system.

Speaking at a policy retreat for Permanent Secretaries held at the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies, (NIPSS) Kuru, near Jos, the Plateau state Governor vowed to rid the civil service of members of staff who have questionable records or are found to have tampered with their records

Lalong added that the exercise will continue as those found culpable will face disciplinary actions.
