Dr. Akintoye Akindele, the Chairman of Platform Capital, has been taken into custody by officers of the Nigeria Police Force on suspicions of fraudulently diverting payments intended for crude oil delivered to Duport Midstream Company Limited.

Insiders within the police department have verified that he is currently undergoing questioning and may face charges. This follows his departure from the country without responding to their initial summons.
