Police Officer dies after been hit by a vehicle while opening gate to former governor’s Compound

The police officer was assigned to Ogun State former Governor Gbenga Daniels. The officer got hit by a car as he was trying to open the gate to the former Governor’s house.

The officer whose name goes by Adeleke Ogunsola was among the officers posted to the Sagamu residence of the former governor for security purpose.

Ogun State Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi confirmed the incident. He said: “That was an accident. He was opening the gate, the gate bounced back and the driver mistakenly hit him with the gate. It’s an accident, it can happen to anybody.”
