Police Reacts As House On The Rock Pastor Spotted Carrying An AK-47 Rifle While Preaching In Church (Video)
The head pastor of House on the Rock Church in Abuja, Pastor Uche Aigbe, was apprehended while preaching in his church on Sunday while carrying an AK-47 gun.
After the viral video was shared on Twitter, there were a variety of responses. Many people criticized the clergyman for carrying a weapon, claiming that it was against the law.
CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the Nigerian Police Force’s spokesperson, has responded to a viral video showing an Abuja-based pastor carrying an AK-47 rifle inside a church.

However, some churchgoers intervened to support the minister, explaining that he was simply using the weapon as an example. They said that no one in the church was afraid and that the rifle was unloaded.

Reacting to the controversial video, CSP Adejobi said he has forwarded it to the Commissioner of Police for the FCT, and they would commence investigation on the incident.
He added that the clergyman will have a case to answer if found guilty as civilians are not allowed to carry arms.
“But if its true, the pastor will have a case to answer. AK47??. It falls under prohibited Firearms in Nigeria, and no one bears it except an officer of the law, and not all of them have the right, selected sec operatives, but no individual has the right to bear it,” he tweeted.
