Qatar Fifa World Cup: Fifa Posts Emotional Tributes To Comfort Ronaldo

After the encounter against Morocco, FIFA praised Cristiano Ronaldo in a video that was released on Saturday.

This World Cup Cristiano Ronaldo participated in may have been his final one. In the quarterfinals, Morocco defeated Portugal, and the striker was unable to hold back his tears as his country’s hope was dashed.

FIFA posted a video in honor of the player on their social media as a result. They honored him with a video that included his greatest World Cup performances.

On Saturday, Ronaldo, who has recently served as a substitute in World Cup games, did not enter the game until the second half and was unable to change the outcome, allowing Morocco to become the first African team to advance to the semifinals.

After the game, a picture of a football player fighting back tears has gone viral. The Portuguese striker has yet to win a world championship or lead Portugal in goals in a World Cup.
