Queen Tobi Phillips Reacts To Trolls For Speaking English During Interview With BBC Yoruba (Video)

One of the wives of the famed Yoruba ruler, the Ooni of Ife, Queen Tobi Phillips, has finally responded to the trolls who criticized her for not speaking Yoruba in her videos.

The former beauty queen admitted that she has received a lot of online abuse for not using Yoruba in her videos on her Instagram profile.

Queen Tobi uploaded a video of herself speaking Yoruba flawlessly in an interview with BBC Yoruba to refute her critics.

Although Yoruba is not her primary language, she made clear in her caption that she always uses the appropriate tone when speaking it.

“Good morning fam, I hope your day is off to a great start. This is for those who have been trying to troll me about speaking Yoruba in my previous videos.

I may not speak Yoruba as my default language, but best believe that whenever I do, I make sure to speak it with the right tone.” She wrote.
