Romanian Authorities Releases Andrew Tate To House Arrest

Published

After three months in police custody, well-known media personality Andrew Tate has been freed from custody.

According to a trustworthy source, Tristan Tate and Andrew Tate were both taken into custody by the Romanian authorities on December 29, 2022. They were accused of abuse, participating in organized crime, and trafficking in human beings.

Georgiana Naghel and Luana Radu, two additional women who were allegedly conspirators, were also detained during the raid.

Tate’s arrest came days after a Twitter spat with climate change activist, Greta Thunberg. During the spar, Tate posted a video where he posed alongside a pizza box, which hinted Romanian authorities about his location.

After several applications for bail were declined by the court, Tate’s lawyers appealed the decision. On Friday, a Court of Appeal seated in Bucharest ruled that the Tate brothers and their two alleged accomplices should be released from prison, and thereafter be placed under house arrest, Daily Mail reports.

The four are to be detained in their homes, and cannot exit the building except they are granted permission by the court.
