Ronaldo discusses Man City move with Guardiola, agrees on personal terms
Juventus forward, Cristiano Ronaldo, has taken a major step towards signing for Manchester City after he agreeing on personal terms with the Premier League champions.
According to The UK Independent, Ronaldo has already spoken with Pep Guardiola about the move.
The 36-year-old will earn upwards of £250,000-a-week, should City agree a fee with the Serie A giants.
Ronaldo’s agent, Jorge Mendes, travelled to Turin on Thursday to negotiate with Juventus chiefs over the player’s future.
It is understood that the Italian club is keen to get Ronaldo off their wage bill.
City’s top target this summer was Tottenham’s Harry Kane.
But their chase for Kane ended on Wednesday after the England captain released a statement committing his future to Spurs.
Guardiola and City broke the British transfer record earlier this summer when they paid Aston Villa £100m for Jack Grealish, but have been frustrated in their efforts to replace all-time leading goalscorer Sergio Aguero.
