Self-proclaimed ‘best drunk driver ever’ charged with killing 2 state troopers and a pedestrian in DUI crash
A woman who boasted on Twitter that she is the “best drunk driver ever” has been accused of killing two Pennsylvania state troopers and one pedestrian.
Jayana Tanae Webb, 21, faced three counts of third-degree murder after prosecutors said she mowed down troopers Branden Sisca, 29, and Martin Mack III, 33, along with pedestrian Reyes Rivera Oliveras, 28, on the shoulder of I-95 Monday night, March 21, in Philadelphia.
The deadly crash unfolded around 1am on Monday, when Troopers Mack and Sisca pulled Webb over on suspicion of DUI (driving under the influence), but they let her go free when they were called away to assist a man endangering himself by walking in the southbound lanes of the busy interstate highway.
Some miles down the interstate from where they pulled over Webb, the two troopers were helping the distressed pedestrian, 28-year-old Reyes Rivera Oliveras, get into their patrol car when Webb allegedly rammed into their police SUV at high speed, killing all three men.
Police say the impact of the crash flung all three men into the opposite northbound lanes.
Good Samaritans attempted to render aid to the troopers and pedestrian, but all three were killed by the force of the impact.
Both of the troopers left behind wives. Mack had two children and Sisca’s widow is pregnant, according to fundraising sites.
Jayana Tanae Webb, 21, was hit with felony charges on Tuesday, March 22, for allegedly ramming the troopers on I-95 just moments after they had pulled her over on suspicion of drunk driving.
Webb allegedly admitted to driving under the influence and reportedly cried as she was arraigned on 18 felony counts, including two counts of manslaughter of a law enforcement officer.
Earlier this year, the suspect had taken to Twitter to brag about her ability to drive while drunk.
“If you ask me, I’m the best drunk driver ever,” she tweeted on Jan. 15.
Her Twitter timeline is littered with other tweets about her being drunk.
“The liquor starting to taste like juice… I think I need a long ass break bc wtf,” she tweeted on Jan. 16.
On February 18, she referred to “getting in at 8am drunk: and on January 21 she posted: “I get drunk & start saying anything.”
Police sources said that Webb’s blood alcohol level was measured at twice the legal limit following the fatal crash
