Singer Turned Prophetess, Cynthia Morgan, Expresses Disappointment Over Absence of Musicians at Wizkid’s Mother’s Funeral

Formerly known as Cynthia Morgan, dancehall artist turned prophetess Madrina has voiced her disappointment at Nigerian musicians for not attending the funeral of Wizkid’s late mother, Mrs. Jane Morayo Dolapo Balogun, which took place on Friday, October 13, 2023.

The funeral, as seen in videos that surfaced from the ceremony in Lagos, appeared to be a low-key affair and not as star-studded as some might have expected.

Madrina took to her Instagram story to express her dismay at the absence of Wizkid’s fellow musicians at the funeral. In her message, she lamented, “Not one male or female colleague of Wiz[kid] is at his mum’s burial. Nawa!”
