NDLEA Arrests Chadian National And Others Recovers 2.6million Opioids
During interdiction operations in various states during the last week, agents of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, or NDLEA, recovered no less than 2,684,900 pills of tramadol and other pharmaceutical opioids. A total of 250,000 tramadol and exol-5 pills, as well as 1800ml of codeine, were found in a trailer from Onitsha, Anambra state, at Mubi in Adamawa State, according to the agency’s spokeswoman, Femi Babafemi, in a statement released on Sunday, February 19. A dealer named Hussaini Ibrahim (also known as Bafu) was also arrested.
