TG Omori Reveals How He Manages To Be The Best Despite Not Owning A Camera

Famous Nigerian music director and cinematographer, ThankGod Omori Smith, better known as TG Omori or Boy Director said he discovered video directing when he was an undergraduate and the most exciting part was that it did not require him to own equipment.

He said till date, he does not own a camera nor any other equipment except for his laptop which he uses for video editing.

He made this known in a chat during his recent interview with Zero Conditions Podcast.

He disclosed;

“I wanted to study film production, but my parents couldn’t even afford to buy me a laptop, so I switched to performing art because all I needed was just to be present on stage.”

“It was in school that I discovered there is a career called music video director. And you don’t need to have anything, you can actually rent equipment. Till now, I don’t own a camera, I only have a computer I use for editing in my office,”
