Thomas Tuchel has been given the power to decide Chelsea transfers

Chelsea’s new owners are handing Tuchel £200m and more could be available with potential player sales. 

Thomas Tuchel has been promised that he will be have the lead role in recruiting players this summer with Todd Boehly keen to shift to Liverpool and Man City type approaches.

Chelsea are NOT thought to be close to agreeing a deal for Ousmane Dembele.

Tuchel will now have a bigger influence over transfer than Marina or Cech, and if Tuchel decides Lukaku leaving would be best, they will try and broker a deal. 

In a meeting with Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel, Todd Boehly made it clear that the new owners will do everything in their power to try to deliver his targets and move on players he does not want – rather than attempting to impose their own transfer ideas.
