Overcoming a sluggish start, Tobi Amusan, who holds the world hurdles record, swiftly regained her momentum, crossing the finish line with a time of 12.56 seconds.

In the semi-final round, Amusan outpaced her competitors, including the Jamaican athlete Achkara Nungent with a time of 12.60 seconds and the Dutch contender Nadine Visser, who finished with a time of 12.62 seconds.

Securing her victory in the second semi-final, Tobi Amusan’s clocked time of 12.56 seconds solidified her position in the highly anticipated final, set to take place on Thursday evening, August 24.
