Nollywood actress, Jemima Osunde has slammed the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) for releasing the corpse of late Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari for burial.

Jemima believed that the corpse of Abba Kyari who died from coronavirus should have been cremated instead of being buried.

She also went on to castigate the amount of people that gathered for the burial.

She tweeted: “Never seen a bigger bunch of dimwits in my life. First of all, @NCDCgov WHY DID YOU RELEASE HIS BODY???? Did you release the other 16 people that died to their families? Shouldn’t he have been cremated? And then what is this damn crowd ?? What is wrong with you people?!!!”

Meanwhile, The massive turnout of politicians and well-wishers at Abba Kyari’s burial has caused a huge stir online.

Concerned Nigerians have called on relevant authorities to arrest the attendees of the burial who pose a health risk to the well-being of Nigerians after disobeying the social distancing rule.

It would be recalled that popular Nollywood Actress Funke Akindele was prosecuted and sentenced to 14-days community service for throwing a birthday party for her husband, JJC Skills and violating the social distancing order.

In the same vein, Nigerians have called for the prosecution of everyone who attended the burial of the late Chief of Staff.
