TRAGEDY!!! Many Lives Lost As Fallen Tanker Explodes While Residents Were Scooping Fuel (Videos)

On the evening of July 23, a fuel-filled tanker exploded in the hamlet of Ore, Ondo state, causing a terrible tragedy.

According to information obtained, the tanker driver lost control of the vehicle, which caused a collision. Locals reportedly flocked to the accident site quickly to remove fuel from the tanker.

Vanguard claims that the spark from one of the individuals scooping fuel from the tanker’s phone caused the explosion.

A pregnant mother, three children, and 18 other people perished in the horrifying blast, though the actual death toll is yet unknown.

They were inside the church when the truck fell and its contents spilled, according to witness Cyriacus.

Despite the warnings from the church’s pastor, many people rushed to scoop fuel form the tanker, and sadly, met their demise.

His words,

“We were inside the church when we heard that tanker fell. The rain was also falling. People were taking fuel when fire started after a spark from a phone.

Three children di£d and we have counted over 15 bodies. A pregnant woman that wanted to buy the fuel also di£d. The money is still with her.”
