Frank Lampard was sacked by Chelsea following the Blues’ poor run of form, with Thomas Tuchel set to take over.

The Londoners have lost five out of their last eight Premier League games to leave them ninth in the top flight and five points off the top four.

Following the confirmation of Lampard’s sack today, the Stamford Bridge hierarchy are in advanced negotiations with Tuchel to take over as they look to get back into contention to qualify for next season’s Champions League.
